17 years of age = 125cc Motorcycle or Scooter (limited to 15Bhp)
*if you passed you car test before Feb 2001 you can ride a Moped without a CBT.

Direct Access Scheme (DAS)
If you are 24 or older this is the quickest way to get your full unlimited category A licence.
A CBT will be needed unless you have previously passed a Moped, A1 or A2 test.
A valid Theory Test (expires after 2 years) will also be needed unless you have passed the A2 Test.
If you have held an A2 Category Licence for 2 years you can take the Category A Tests.
A CBT & Theory will not be needed.

A CBT & Theory will be needed unless you have previously passed a Moped or A1 test.

Driving Standards Agency Practical Tests
To obtain a Motorcycle licence in any Category students must pass Two practical tests:
Mod 1 is done on an Off Road Site and consists of 11 manoeuvres. We have duplicated the test at our own off road site, so you can practice All these manoeuvres realistically and safely. We are the Only Training School in the area to have this facility.
Mod 2 consists of a 35/40 minute on road ride.
Students taking their training within a course will normally have their tests booked for them.
Students doing their training with individual lessons can book their own tests but must liaise with us if the tests are Category A or A2 as you can’t ride unsupervised.
