Theory Test Training
Before taking the DAS A2 or A1 Practical Motorcycle Test all provisional licence holders need to have passed both the CBT and the Motorcycle Theory Test (remember that both have a 2 year life span).
If you have already passed a Motorcycle Theory Test for a lower category Motorbike licence you might not need to do another, it is complicated so please call or email us for advice.
In this area there are Motorcycle Theory Test Centres at Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Colchester.
The Motorcycle Theory Test consists of a series of Hazard Perception clips on a computer where you have to “Click” the mouse when you see a Potential Hazard, the second part is a series of Multi Choice question.
To pass the Motorcycle theory test you need to be conversant with the Highway code and various aspects of motorcycling. It is advised that prior to Any Motorcycle Training you read & understand the highway code. The hazard perception element of the Theory test is the same as the Car but the multi choice questions are different so you are advised to study.
Here at Academy we have the latest bank of theory test questions and various simulations of the hazard perception element of the Motorcycle Theory Test.
If you book a course of Motorbike Training and we have your deposit you will be able to lend the training books & computer disks free of charge.
We would recommend that before you book your Motorcycle practical test training after you have passed your motorcycle theory as if you don’t pass it you will be able to take the course but not the practical tests.
To book your Theory Test you can call: 0300 200 1122 or do it on line via the link below or go to “Links” = Driving Standards Agency. You will need your Licence and a payment card on hand to book.
